Job summary

Roche Rochester NY is seeking a Field Engineering Specialist to support Roche products through on-site installation, repair, and preventive maintenance.

This field-based role requires daily travel within the territory, occasional overnight trips, and strong problem-solving skills to diagnose mechanical, hardware and software failures while keeping detailed service records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and relevant technical training required.
• 5 years of progressive repair/servicing experience or 1–2 years with Bachelor's in a relevant field.
• Certification as defined by RD Services Leadership mandatory.
• Ability to travel, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site service, repair, and installation of Roche products.
• Travel within assigned territory to support laboratory customers.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures.
• Document activities and contribute to quality improvement.
• Serve as a primary customer contact for technical and service issues.
