Job summary
TRUMPF Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair TRUMPF CNC machines while building strong customer relationships. This role involves traveling 100% nationwide, with overnight stays and occasional weekends, and some international travel.
The position requires an Associates degree in Engineering or equivalent experience, plus a clean driver’s license. You will work with cross-functional teams and provide onsite training to customers on operation
Qualifications
- Associates degree or technical school in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience in computer software, file management, electronics, digital circuits, wiring, mechanics and hydraulics is helpful.
- Must have and maintain a clean and valid driver’s license and record.
Responsibilities
- Work with customers and machines to ensure equipment operates within expected tolerance.
- Provide diagnostic feedback to Product Support and technicians.
- Use diagnostic tools to analyze machine difficulties and reference repair manuals.
- Assemble, install, align equipment and replace parts as needed.
- Report technical conditions and information of machines to PSG and management.
