Zusammenfassung

TRUMPF Inc. seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair TRUMPF CNC machines while building strong customer relationships. This role requires 100% nationwide travel, overnight stays, and occasional international trips.

You will work with product support and use diagnostics tools to identify issues. You will install, align, and service equipment, provide on-site training to customers, and document repair results.

Qualifikationen

• Associates program or technical school degree in Engineering principles or a suitable combination of education and work experience

Aufgaben

• Work with customers and machines to ensure equipment operates within expected tolerance
• Work with Product Support for technical assistance and provide diagnostic feedback
• Use visual clues, computer programs, and diagnostic tools to diagnose machine difficulties
• Read and utilize repair manuals and work orders; assist with updating documentation
• Assemble, install, align equipment, and replace or install parts to maintain operation
• Accurately report technical conditions and information of machines to PSG and management
• Interface with cross-functional teams such as applications, sales, engineering, and production
• Provide onsite training to customers for operation and/or repair of machines
• Submit organized and helpful service reports for each repair mission
