Job summary

TRUMPF, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair TRUMPF CNC machines while building strong customer relationships. The role requires extensive nationwide travel and overnight stays, with occasional weekend and international travel.

You will work with cross-functional teams, provide onsite training to customers, and submit detailed service reports. A technical background and valid driver's license are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with electronics, digital circuits, wiring, mechanics and hydraulics is helpful.
• Must have and maintain a clean and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair TRUMPF CNC machines.
• Build and develop strong customer relationships.
• Work with Product Support for technical assistance and feedback.
• Read manuals and work orders; assist with updates to technical docs.
• Assemble, install, align equipment, replace parts, and maintain operation.
• Report technical conditions and information to PSG and management.
• Interface with cross-functional teams (applications, sales, engineering, production).
• Provide onsite training to customers for operation and/or repair.
• Submit organized service reports for each repair mission.
