Job summary

TRUMPF Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair TRUMPF CNC machines at customer sites nationwide.

This role requires travel up to 100% nationwide, including overnight stays, with opportunities to build strong customer relationships and provide onsite training. An Associate degree or technical training in engineering is preferred; a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certificate in engineering or a related field.
• Experience with electronics, digital circuits, wiring and hydraulics is helpful.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain TRUMPF CNC machines at customer sites.
• Provide onsite customer training and generate clear service reports.
• Collaborate with applications, sales, engineering, and production teams for issue resolution.
• Document technical conditions and repair actions in service reports.
