Job summary

TRUMPF Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair TRUMPF CNC machines at customer sites nationwide.

The role requires traveling 100% nationwide, with possible international trips, and a focus on building strong relationships with customers to ensure optimal machine performance. The ideal candidate has an engineering-related associate degree or technical training, plus experience with electronics, hydraulics, and mechanics.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical training in Engineering principles or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with electronics, digital circuits, wiring, hydraulics is helpful.
• Must have and maintain a clean and valid driver's license and record.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, and repair TRUMPF CNC machines at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment to meet tolerances.
• Provide onsite training to customers.
• Report technical conditions and repair activities to PSG and management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (applications, sales, engineering, production).
• Submit organized service reports for each repair mission.
• Read and utilize repair manuals; suggest updates to documentation as needed.
• Travel nationwide 100% with potential international travel.
