Job summary

MilliporeSigma seeks a field service technician to install, maintain, repair, and calibrate scientific instruments at customer sites across the US. Travel up to 30-40% is expected, including occasional trips to Canada and internationally as needed.

You will complete detailed service reports, calibrations, and performance assessments while communicating professionally with customers and internal teams. A HS diploma and tool experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years with basic hand, power, and electrical tools.
• 2+ years instrument or machinery maintenance.
• 2+ years use of Microsoft Office.
• Valid US passport and driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional service including installations, maintenance, repairs, and calibration.
• Service at customer sites for MilliporeSigma instruments.
• Complete Work Orders and documentation accurately.
• Provide customers with service reports and calibration results.
• Maintain communications with customers and internal teams.
• Meet business expectations for response times and satisfaction.
• Submit expense reports every two weeks.
• Assist with training other team members.
