Job summary

Sartorius is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Automation) for the St. Louis, MO area. You will install, commission, calibrate, and maintain sophisticated Ambr system equipment and related automation across customer sites.

Travel within commutable distance, diagnose complex issues, and provide on-site and remote support as required. You will partner with customers to ensure uptime, collect performance data, and train staff on proper operation and maintenance while documenting activities and

Qualifications

• Associate degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent military or trade school certificates in electronics/electrical technology.
• 2+ years in commissioning/test or field service environment on capital equipment.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, calibration, preventative maintenance and break-fix repairs across systems.
• Maintain fault-finding data and report product performance to customers and internal teams.
• Keep records of time, expenses and work performed.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Install software and firmware updates/test and calibrate control systems.
