Job summary

Zaddy Solutions in Rock Island, IL, is hiring a Field Service Engineer to install, service, and maintain medical laboratory analyzers. The role covers hematology, chemistry, and coagulation equipment, with overnight travel within the Quad Cities area.

Applicants should have at least 3 years of field service experience, a certificate or AAS in electronics, and be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. A company vehicle and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years field service experience in medical devices preferred.
• Overnight travel is required.
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and preventive maintenance of instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinate problem resolution within Field Support Group.
• Maintain vehicle inventory including tools and spare parts.
• Provide on-site training on operation of instrumentation.

Job description

No Relocation. Need to reside within the greater ROCK ISLAND, IL (QUAD CITIES AREA).

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater ROCK ISLAND, IL area.

Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting background.

Qualifications:

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.
• Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required
• Minimum of 3 years experienceas a field service engineer
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.
• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities:

• Will be involved with the installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of the instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinates problem resolution within the Field Support Group
• Maintain car inventory, such as tools, trunk stock (parts), etc.
• Provides basic on-site training regarding the operation of company instrumentation

Benefits:

• Base salary 65K - 85K depending on experience (overtime & performance bonus should add an additional 4K - 8K annually, probably more.).
