Job summary

Ashton North LLC is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater ROCK ISLAND, IL area. The role requires electronics/E-M troubleshooting skills, a relevant degree, and willingness to travel overnight.

Responsibilities include installation, preventive maintenance, and on-site training. Benefits and a base salary with bonuses are offered, along with a company vehicle and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Requires a Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics.
• Minimum 3 years of field service engineering experience.
• Overnight travel required.
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or instrumentation preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of the instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinates problem resolution within the Field Support Group.
• Maintain car inventory, such as tools, trunk stock (parts).
• Provides basic on-site training regarding the operation of company instrumentation.

No Relocation. Need to reside within the greater ROCK ISLAND, IL (QUAD CITIES AREA).

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater ROCK ISLAND, IL area.

Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting background.

Qualifications:

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.
• Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required
• Minimum of 3 years experienceas a field service engineer
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.
• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
