Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC in Rock Island, IL is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service and maintain medical lab analyzers for our customers in the Quad Cities area. The role requires a solid electronics/electro-mechanical troubleshooting background, and a certificate or AAS in electronics.

At least 3 years in field service is preferred. Overnight travel is required and sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required.
• 3+ years experience as a field service engineer in medical instrumentation preferred.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.

Responsibilities

• Involved with installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of the instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinate problem resolution within the Field Support Group.
• Maintain car inventory such as tools and spare parts.
• Provide basic on-site training on operation of company instrumentation.

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater ROCK ISLAND, IL area.

Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting backgrounnd.

Qualifications

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.
• Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required
• Minimum of 3 years experienceas a field service engineer
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.
• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
