Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service medical laboratory analyzers in the greater Rock Island, IL area. The role requires overnight travel and a strong electronics/electromechanical troubleshooting background.

Qualifications

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or related discipline is required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer.
• Overnight travel will be required.
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and preventive maintenance of the instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinate problem resolution within the Field Support Group.
• Maintain car inventory, such as tools and trunk stock (parts).
• Provides basic on-site training regarding operation of company instrumentation.

No Relocation. Need to reside within in the greater ROCK ISLAND, IL (QUAD CITIES AREA)

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater ROCK ISLAND, IL area. Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting background.

Qualifications:

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.
• Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required
• Minimum of 3 years experienceas a field service engineer
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.
• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities:

• Will be involved with the installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of the instrumentation.

• Base salary 65K - 85K depending on experience (overtime & performance bonus should add an additional 4K - 8K annually, probably more.).
