Aspire Talent Solutions in Rock Island, IL is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to install, service, and maintain advanced medical laboratory instrumentation in the Quad Cities area. You will travel overnight as needed and work with hematology, chemistry, and coagulation analyzers, ensuring high reliability and customer satisfaction.

A Certificate or AAS in electronics is required; 3+ years of field service experience preferred. Vaccination against COVID-19 is required.

Competenze

• Experience with electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.

No Relocation. Need to reside within the greater ROCK ISLAND, IL (QUAD CITIES AREA).

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater ROCK ISLAND, IL area.

Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting background.

Qualifications:

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.
• Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required
• Minimum of 3 years experienceas a field service engineer
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.
• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities:

• Will be involved with the installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of the instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinates problem resolution within the Field Support Group
• Maintain car inventory, such as tools, trunk stock (parts), etc.
• Provides basic on-site training regarding the operation of company instrumentation
