Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service medical lab analyzers in the greater ROCK ISLAND, IL area. The role requires an electronics/electro-mechanical troubleshooting background and overnight travel.

You will install, service, and maintain automated lab instrumentation while building strong customer relations. Base salary ranges from 65K to 85K with potential overtime and annual bonuses; a company vehicle, laptop, cellphone, comprehensive insurance, 401K,

Qualifications

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.
• Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.
• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinates problem resolution within the Field Support Group.
• Maintain car inventory, such as tools, trunk stock (parts).
• Provides basic on-site training regarding the operation of company instrumentation.

No Relocation. Need to reside within the greater ROCK ISLAND, IL (QUAD CITIES AREA).

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater ROCK ISLAND, IL area.

Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting background.
