Job summary

KLA Industries, Inc. in Davenport, IA is seeking a field service engineer to install, service, and maintain medical laboratory analyzers. You will travel to healthcare sites, troubleshoot electronics, and train customers on operation of the equipment.

Requires a certificate or AAS in electronics and at least 3 years of field service experience in medical instrumentation; must reside in the Quad Cities area and be willing to travel overnight. Sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Certificate or AAS in electronics is required.
• Strong electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Overnight travel will be required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinate problem resolution within the Field Support Group.

**** No Relocation. Need to reside within in the greater DAVENPORT, IA (QUAD CITIES AREA)

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater DAVENPORT, IA.

Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting backgrounnd.

Qualifications:

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.
• Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required
• Minimum of 3 years experienceas a field service engineer
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.
• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities:

• Will be involved with the installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of the instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinates problem resolution within the Field Support Group
• Maintain car inventory, such as tools, trunk stock (parts), etc.
• Providesbasic on-site training regarding the operation of company instrumentation.

Benefits:

• Base salary 65K - 85K depending on experience (overtime & performance bonus should add an additional 4K - 8K annually, probably more.).
