Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative to perform assembly, startup, diagnostic, repair and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment at customer sites. You will travel regionally, work with cross-functional teams, and complete field service reports and data sheets.

The role offers extensive training in Dallas, TX, with a comprehensive Total Rewards package, and a base pay range of USD 86,400 to 129,600 per year plus overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree, trade certification, or military training in electrical disciplines.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics.
• Understanding of AC/DC power and related components.
• 2+ years field service repair and customer service with UPS, power distribution, or related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modifications of equipment.
• Troubleshoot with customers and teams; complete field service and startup data sheets.
• Prepare service and expense reports and communicate escalated issues to management.
• Travel within region as needed and support larger project start-ups.
