Interstate Power Systems in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a Field Service Coordinator to manage service scheduling, dispatching, and customer communications for our diesel engine, generator, and heavy equipment services.

You will coordinate technicians, work orders, parts, and service reporting while ensuring safety, compliance, and accurate invoicing, in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment that values reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a service coordination, dispatching, or customer service role.
• Knowledge of heavy-duty diesel engines, generators, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals and schematics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule field service appointments and preventive maintenance.
• Serve as primary client contact, providing updates and resolving inquiries.
• Dispatch technicians with detailed work orders and parts guidance.
• Create, track, and close work orders with proper documentation.
• Coordinate with parts to ensure availability of components.
• Generate service reports to monitor performance and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure adherence to regulations and safety standards.
• Provide remote troubleshooting support for repairs.
• Coordinate billing with the accounting team.
