Interstate Power Systems is seeking a Field Service Coordinator to manage service scheduling, dispatch field technicians, and liaise with customers from our Omaha, Nebraska service center. The role emphasizes coordinating repairs, preventive maintenance, and parts availability with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The position requires a minimum of 2 years in service coordination or related fields, strong communication skills, and proficiency with ERP/CRM tools and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a service coordination, dispatching, or customer service role in heavy equipment or diesel industries.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals and schematics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule field service appointments and prioritize preventive maintenance and emergencies.
• Serve as the primary client contact, providing updates and addressing inquiries.
• Dispatch technicians and provide them with work orders and required parts/tools.
• Create, track, and close work orders in the service management system with accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with parts to ensure availability of components for repairs.
• Generate service reports to monitor performance and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure field activities comply with safety standards and regulations.
• Provide remote troubleshooting support and coordinate with engineering for complex repairs.
• Assist with billing by coordinating with accounting for labor, parts, and travel costs.
