Job summary

Leggett & Platt Flooring Products is seeking a Territory Manager to join our Central Region sales team, supporting Austin, San Antonio, and extending toward Waco and south Texas. The ideal candidate will be based in the Austin/San Antonio area and will service existing customers while qualifying and developing new prospects.

You will drive territory growth by identifying opportunities, building a strong pipeline, and spending significant time in the field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of successful sales experience, preferably in an outside sales or business development role.
• Bachelor's degree preferred if no direct sales experience.
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and closing skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive aggressive territory growth by identifying, prospecting, and winning new business opportunities.
• Build and develop a strong pipeline of new accounts while expanding relationships within existing customers.
• Spend significant time in the field calling on prospects, uncovering opportunities, and closing business.
• Become a trusted advisor by providing product expertise, training, and solutions that help customers succeed.
• Represent the company and product portfolio at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Partner with customer service to ensure seamless order execution and customer satisfaction.
• Manage account pricing, negotiations, and profitability to drive sustainable growth.
• Resolve account-related challenges while maintaining strong customer relationships.
