Job summary

Avantor is hiring a Sales Specialist to support TX, AR, KY, LA, MS, OK, TN in a field-based role across the South-Central U.S. You will plan territory activity, qualify opportunities, and close business by delivering client solutions within the analytical chemistry workflow.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Chemistry or Biochemistry, 3+ years chromatography experience, and willingness to travel up to five days per week. Driver's license is a must. Salesforce and SAP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3+ years chromatography experience.
• Strong understanding of analytical chemistry marketplace (HPLC, LC/MS, GC, etc.).
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Territory planning and qualifying opportunities to close business.
• Provide client solutions within analytical chemistry workflow.
• Support regional sales team with meetings and on-site seminars.
• Travel within the South-Central U.S. and other southern states.
