Job summary

Avantor is seeking a Sales Specialist to join our Analytical Chemistry team, supporting TX, AR, KY, LA, MS, OK, TN. This field-based role requires a Bachelor’s in Chemistry or Biochemistry and 3+ years in chromatography, with a strong understanding of HPLC, LC-MS, GC, and related techniques.

You will plan territories, qualify opportunities, and close deals by delivering tailored client solutions. Travel to customer sites is expected and Salesforce/SAP experience is preferred to drive matrixed

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or equivalent work experience required.
Minimum 3+ years chromatography experience.
Firm understanding of analytical chemistry marketplace (HPLC, LC/MS, GC, GC/MS, FPLC, flash, purification, spectroscopy, ICP, wet chemistry, etc.).
Holder of a valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

Develop territory plans and qualify opportunities to close business in analytical chemistry workflow.
Provide client solutions to advance discovery and meet customer requirements.
Travel to customer locations and maintain strong external partnerships with manufacturers and experts.
