Avantor is hiring a Sales Specialist to support the Analytical Chemistry team across TX, AR, KY, LA, MS, OK and TN. You will plan territory coverage, qualify opportunities and close business by presenting solutions that advance analytical chemistry workflows.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Chemistry or Biochemistry, 3+ years chromatography experience and hands-on exposure to HPLC, LC/MS, GC, and related techniques. Travel 5 days a week is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry required
• 3+ years chromatography experience required
• Firm understanding of analytical chemistry marketplace (HPLC, LC/MS, GC, GC/MS, FPLC, purification, spectroscopy, ICP, wet chemistry)
• Holder of a valid Driver's License
• Willingness to travel to customer locations minimum 5 days a week; travel throughout the South-Central U.S.

Responsabilités

• Develop territory plans and qualify opportunities to close business
• Provide client solutions to analytical chemistry workflow needs
• Support regional meetings, strategy sessions, and on-site technical seminars
• Maintain external partnerships with manufacturers and industry experts
• Collaborate with general sales reps, portfolio, and marketing to meet account goals
