Job summary

Core-Mark in California seeks a Sales Service Representative to support and execute strategic sales initiatives across assigned territories, including Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Santa Ana, and surrounding cities. You will build strong relationships with customers and partner with the Sales Team to drive growth.

Key duties include maintaining SmartStock programs, improving product placement, managing call routines, and leveraging company tools to track performance and opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of working experience in a customer service, merchandising and/or sales position.
• Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper valid insurance.
• Ability to drive to customer locations with mileage and gasoline reimbursement provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers to understand their needs, identify opportunities, and drive sales growth.
• Execute a detailed and specific call routine with a designated ledger of customers, prioritizing activities that maximize sales and customer opportunities.
• Partner with the Sales Team to execute strategic sales initiatives and achieve established sales, Case Growth, and revenue objectives.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to increase sales, expand product distribution, improve product availability, and maximize share of space within assigned accounts.
• Utilize sales data, customer information, and company reporting to identify trends, evaluate performance, and develop action plans.
• Maintain and execute the SmartStock program, including racks, plan-o-grams, ordering, inventory management, and merchandising activities.
