Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking a Sales Representative to grow sales across an assigned local territory, covering Athens, GA and surrounding areas. You will drive revenue by expanding existing accounts and winning new business, with compensation tied to performance.

The position starts with a training salary around $78,000, with uncapped commissions after training. You will travel roughly 80% in-territory, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with a car allowance, mileage reimbursement, and occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 2+ years of B2B sales account management and consulting experience required.
• Must own a reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales and profit margins through execution on sales strategy and territory management.
• Prospecting and onboarding of new customer accounts, including cold calling.
• Educate customers on programs, promotions, policies, service, delivery specifics, and industry activities.
• Review reports with store manager and assist with opportunities.
• Minimize accounts receivable problems by monitoring credit terms and follow-up on issues.
• Maintain awareness of pricing trends to ensure competitive pricing.
• Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels.
• Participate in industry events and networking opportunities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
