Job summary

Spectrum is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to connect with communities, drive growth in high-speed data and communications, and deliver top-tier service. You will visit assigned leads, tailor solutions, present compelling proposals, and close deals while documenting activities and results.

The role emphasizes outdoor field work, travel within the territory, and occasional evenings/weekends to maximize contact with prospective customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Engaging interpersonal skills and customer focus.
• Willingness to travel door-to-door.
• Ability to work outdoors and in varied weather.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new residential customers by visiting assigned leads and introducing Spectrum’s offerings.
• Conduct consultative needs analyses to tailor product recommendations for each prospective customer.
• Present compelling sales proposals that align with customer needs and highlight Spectrum’s solutions.
• Complete all required sales documentation accurately, including dispositioning, order entry and reporting.
• Participate actively in sales meetings and training sessions to support team goals and professional development.
• Achieve monthly sales targets across high-speed data, mobile, landline phone and video services.
• Monitor competitors’ activities within your territory and communicate relevant information to your manager.
