Job summary

Southeast Steel Systems in Adel, Georgia is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow our customer base, build lasting relationships, and drive profitable sales in the assigned territory. You will meet with contractors, property owners, and industrial clients, identify opportunities, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to delivery.

The ideal candidate has proven outside sales experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, and understands steel building products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven outside sales experience in steel manufacturing or related industries.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to understand technical product specifications and customer requirements.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout assigned territories.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and secure new customers within assigned territories.
• Build relationships with metal building contractors, general contractors, commercial property owners, industrial facilities, and other potential customers.
• Pursue new construction, building expansions, replacement materials, repair projects, and other steel building opportunities.
• Develop and execute territory sales plans to meet revenue and gross profit goals.
• Grow existing accounts by identifying additional projects and opportunities.
• Conduct in-person customer visits, prospecting calls, and networking activities.
• Maintain regular communication throughout quoting, production, and delivery.
