Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Sales Representative to drive sales across the Central Iowa region (Des Moines, Ames, Fort Dodge). This field position requires travel and direct customer engagement to grow protective and marine product lines.

You will prospect, plan weekly selling activities, conduct product demonstrations, and build relations with specifiers and asset owners. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of wholesale customer service experience with problem solving and issue resolution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for influencing stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Protective & Marine products and related application equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting new business and making sales calls to existing accounts in the Central Iowa region.
• Develop weekly selling plans and conduct sales calls accordingly.
• Demonstrate products to support customer requirements and grow sales.
• Address customer concerns and manage resolutions within authority.
