Job summary

Generator Supercenter of Detroit is seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. You will run appointments based on leads, visit locations to assess needs, build detailed proposals, negotiate and close sales, and handle order documentation.

As an exterior sales role, you will also spend time at big box stores managing displays, following up on leads, and maintaining strong relationships for future sales.

• Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills are required.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities are essential.
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback are important.

Responsibilities

• Run appointments with customers based on incoming leads.
• Visit customer locations, assess needs, and build detailed proposals.
• Negotiate and close sales while processing orders and documentation.
• Spend time managing displays at big box stores and collecting leads.
• Follow up on older leads and maintain positive business relationships.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and coordinate with HQ as needed.
