Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a Field Sales Representative to own and deliver sales across a Fairfield, CA territory. You will build relationships with Store Managers and retail staff to achieve short- and long-term performance goals, focusing on wall-to-wall coverage, displays, new items, and core distribution.

The role requires travel, strong communication, and the ability to analyze market data to drive promotions and volume growth. Eligible candidates must reside within 50 miles of Fairfield, CA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of retail sales, merchandising or retail management experience in CPG products preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License in good standing.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills, plus attention to detail.
• Strong communication, selling and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Word/Outlook) and other POS systems.
• Ability to analyze data to apply selling techniques.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Sell incremental volume for displays and promote products.
• Promote surveys for displays and promotions.
• Suggest additional products based on opportunities.
• Collaborate with store operations to drive volume in reviews.
• Manage and justify expenditures of resources.
• Ensure pricing guidelines are followed at retail.
