Graybar is seeking an Outside Sales Representative in Amarillo, Texas to drive growth in our specialized market by selling products and services, developing new prospects and maintaining relationships with existing customers. You will visit customer sites and promote solutions, supporting post-sale demonstrations when needed.

You will meet annual gross margin targets and report market conditions, with extensive travel required and the option to use your personal vehicle under Graybar's FAVR

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years industry-specific experience; 4+ years preferred.
• 4-year degree preferred.
• Knowledge of business administration, sales, and marketing.
• Strong negotiation and persuasive selling skills.
• Ability to travel extensively, including overnights.

Aufgaben

• Meet or exceed annual gross margin targets by promoting and selling products in the assigned territory.
• Promote and sell products in the territory and maintain contact with customers.
• Handle customer complaints promptly and report potential claims.
• Keep management informed of local competition and market conditions.
• Carry out sales programs and recommend new items for stock.
• Maintain current customer records and assist in collections.
• Participate in training sessions, trade shows, and sales meetings.
• Demonstrate products after sale when necessary.
