Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. in Georgia is seeking a Territory Sales Representative for the Rental Pump Division to drive pump rental growth and develop long‑term customer relationships in construction, industrial, municipal, and emergency services markets.

You will identify opportunities, promote pump rental solutions, provide technical support, and collaborate with Rental Coordinators to ensure seamless service and repeat business. A high school diploma and 1–3 years in sales are required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and basic internet tools for quoting and tracking pump rentals.
• Ability to comprehend, speak, and write English clearly for customer communication and documentation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with a focus on technical discussions related to pump applications.
• Experience in opportunity qualification, pre‑call planning, account development, and time management, preferably within equipment or pump rental sales.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record for customer visits and site inspections.

Responsibilities

• Establish new rental and sales accounts for pump equipment in construction, industrial, municipal, and emergency services markets through phone calls and in‑person visits.
• Identify and generate leads for pump rentals and accessories using sales and marketing tools.
• Re‑engage lost or dormant accounts to drive new business opportunities.
• Contact customers regarding outstanding invoices and arrange payments.
• Maintain and build strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Perform administrative tasks including creating sales plans and preparing sales reports.
• Visit all customers regularly to promote pump rental solutions and identify new opportunities.
