Job summary

Allegiant Business Group in Texas is seeking an Outside Sales Representative and Trainer for a local territory. This boots-on-the-ground role blends field sales with hands-on coaching to help reps grow their book of business and improve conversion metrics.

You will lead benefit presentations to business owners and employee groups, conduct ride-alongs, and develop concise training materials. This is a 1099 contractor engagement with scheduling flexibility and licensing support.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience in B2B environments, ideally benefits/insurance.
• Experience mentoring, training, or coaching sales professionals in the field.
• Strong presentation skills for 1:1 and group settings.
• Organized, systems-driven, and able to coach others using data.
• Licensed in Health & Life insurance, or willing to obtain licensure within 90 days with company support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a dependable outside sales producer in your assigned territory.
• Deliver clear benefit presentations to business owners and employee groups.
• Conduct ride-alongs, debriefs, role-plays, and field coaching for new reps.
• Develop training materials, playbooks, and coaching modules.
• Collaborate with leadership to set activity goals and improve conversion metrics.
• Maintain your client portfolio and support team growth.
