Job summary

Berkshire Production Supply LLC is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to build and maintain customer relationships in the Itasca, IL area for our Midwest operations. You will drive growth by prospecting in the assigned territory, understanding customer needs, and delivering cost-effective solutions that meet their requirements.

The role offers a competitive base salary, commissions, a company car or monthly allowance, and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Outside Sales experience is required.
• Must be age 21+ to drive a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Demonstrated experience managing and growing sales territory.

Responsibilities

• Develops new business relationships with potential & existing customers and meets KPIs for prospecting & closing deals.
• Understands customer business models and product needs.
• Crafts solutions for customers that meet and exceed their requirements.
• Prospect new clients in assigned territory.
• Works to expand sales with existing clients.
• Act as a subject matter expert on all products lines.
• Provide reports on progress in territory and opportunities for growth.
• Respond to RFQ’s as necessary.
• Work with other teams on larger projects to ensure deliverables.
• Pursue VMI opportunities.
• Notify customers of signature brand products.
• Schedule sales calls and presentations with core supplier target account programs.
• Encourage customer website usage.
• Travel when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
