Zusammenfassung

United Rentals is seeking an Outside Sales Rep in the Power/HVAC division to be the primary contact for customers, renting and selling specialty engineered power supply and climate control solutions. You will build relationships, present turnkey services, size and quote projects, and collaborate with technical staff to deliver tailored solutions.

A base salary with monthly commissions is provided, along with onboarding incentives and strong benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience.
• Knowledge of construction or related equipment preferred; equivalent industry experience with strong sales aptitude will be considered.
• High intellectual abilities to sell complex products and customer solutions.
• Equipment troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to size, quote, install and maintain small to moderately complex projects.
• Strong negotiation and selling skills with excellent customer service.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Increase branch revenue through quality customer service and understanding of specialty rental products.
• Establish new rental accounts through phone calls and in-person visits.
• Present a full range of turnkey services to potential customers.
• Collaborate with technical staff for job site assessments and quotes.
• Provide existing accounts with information on other United Rentals products and services.
• Deliver formal sales presentations to customers.
• Educate customers on equipment through demonstrations and training sessions.
• Assist operations by following up on invoices and payments.
• Record sales activity in Salesforce and other tools.
