Job summary

Bunzl Processor Division is seeking a Field Sales Rep for the Chicago and Northern IL area. You will drive sales in meat processing, dairy, produce, and other food processors, focusing on industrial packaging, PPE, safety equipment, sanitation, and material handling.

You will build relationships, handle inquiries, manage AR, and collaborate with internal teams. Travel, CRM use, and strong customer service are essential to success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree in professional Selling, Marketing or Business a plus.
• Must have practical sales experience in relevant markets.
• Experience in paper/packaging/janitorial/sanitation or food service distribution preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Outstanding customer service and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Experience with IBM I-Series/AS400 is highly desired.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight stays.
• CRM experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Increase sales by penetrating existing accounts and building new ones.
• Meet or exceed sales and margin goals.
• Provide outstanding customer service and maintain relationships.
• Implement pricing strategies across accounts.
• Work with manufacturers’ reps to sell promoted items.
• Attend sales meetings and report to Sales Manager.
• Collaborate with all departments and use VIP selling techniques.
