Job summary

Bunzl Distribution NA is seeking a Field Sales Rep for the Pennsylvania and New Jersey area to drive revenue across bakery/produce/meat processing, industrial packaging, PPE, sanitation and related plant-supply markets. You will build customer relationships, manage inquiries, and coordinate with internal teams to meet sales goals.

Responsibilities include pricing strategy, account development, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Professional Selling, Marketing or Business a plus.
• Practical sales experience in markets such as food processing facilities or related packaging/PPE/sanitation preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and good communication/analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Increase sales and penetrate existing accounts while prospecting new ones.
• Meet or exceed sales and margin goals.
• Provide outstanding customer service to build relationships and satisfaction.
• Implement and manage pricing strategies within all accounts.
• Collaborate with manufacturers' reps to sell promoted items.
• Attend regular sales meetings with the Sales Manager and coordinate with internal departments.
• Communicate and cooperate across teams using professional selling methodologies.
