Job summary

Bunzl Processor Division is seeking a Field Sales Rep to drive sales in Chicago and Northern Illinois. You will develop relationships with meat processing, dairy, and produce markets, handling pricing strategies and coordinating with internal departments.

The role requires sales experience in related industries, strong customer service, and the ability to travel as needed. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in Professional Selling, Marketing, or Business is a plus.
• Proven sales experience in at least one of these markets: food/meat processing, industrial processing, plant operating supplies, PPE or related safety items.
• Experience selling in paper, packaging, janitorial/sanitation or food service distribution industry preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Outstanding customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Increase sales through greater penetration within existing accounts and by prospecting new accounts.
• Meet or exceed sales and margin goals.
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service to build relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Implement and manage pricing strategies within all accounts.
• Work with manufacturers' representatives to sell promoted items.
• Attend sales meetings and meet with Sales Manager regularly.
• Communicate and cooperate with all departments.
• Utilize VIP selling techniques and methodologies.
