Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire and Safety is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to sell products and services to current and new clientele. Focused on building and maintaining customer relationships, identifying prospects, and following up on leads to increase sales.

The role involves presenting products, ensuring customer satisfaction, and communicating new offerings to existing customers. Travel may be required as part of responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field or 5+ years of related experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and stressful environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains a network to identify new sales leads.
• Communicates with customers to identify product needs and suggests solutions.
• Demonstrates functions and utility of products based on customer needs.
• Maintains customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves issues post-sale.
• Maintains communication with existing customers about new products and enhancements.
• Keeps detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, and relationships issues.
• Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
