Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to sell products and services to current and new clients. You will develop and maintain customer relationships, identify prospects, and follow up on leads while recommending market strategies. Travel may be required.

The role emphasizes building networks, meeting sales targets, and providing ongoing customer service alongside a commission structure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
• Communicates with customers to identify needs and suggests products/services.
• Demonstrates product functions based on customer needs.
• Maintains customer relationships and resolves post-sale issues.
• Alerts customers to new products, services, and enhancements.
• Maintains reports of sales activities and forecast territory sales.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
