Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow sales of fire alarm installations, testing and inspection services by developing and maintaining relationships with current and new clients. You will identify prospective customers, follow up on leads, present solutions, and forecast territory performance while delivering excellent service and meeting revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field OR at least five years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with fire alarm systems, including fire alarm installations and testing and inspection services.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsabilités

• Builds and maintains a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
• Communicates with customers to identify needs and suggests products/services, focusing on fire alarm installations and testing/inspection.
• Demonstrates product usefulness based on customer needs.
• Maintains customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management.
• Keeps in touch with existing and previous customers about new products and services.
• Maintains detailed reports of sales activities (calls, orders, revenue, issues).
• Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
