Job summary

SPI - Specialty Products & Insulation is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to expand sales within a defined territory and build strong customer relationships. The role emphasizes prospecting, planning, and delivering compelling quotes and presentations to drive revenue growth.

You will travel up to 75% of the time, requiring a valid driver’s license and the ability to manage a busy field schedule while delivering exceptional customer service and market insights.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years.
• Minimum of one-year experience as an outside sales representative selling business to business.

Responsibilities

• Expand the sales volume and profits within the territory by actively calling on new and existing customers.
• Use effective pre-call planning, market information, scheduling, and maximization of sales opportunities.
• Develop strategic sales plans and forecasts for the territory.
• Identify and pursue additional sales opportunities in current and new product lines.
• Communicate and turnover order details to Customer Service Representatives.
• Prepare and present quotes, proposals, reports, and product/industry presentations to customers at all levels.
