Job summary

Distribution International is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to expand the territory and build lasting customer relationships. You will drive sales revenues and margins through territory management, planning, and proactive account development, while delivering exceptional service.

This role requires travel up to 75% within a 250-mile radius, a valid driver’s license, and CRM experience. A bachelor’s degree is preferred and overnight travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• One year of outside sales experience selling business to business.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Overnight travel is required.
• CRM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Expand sales volume and profits within the territory by calling on customers.
• Develop strategic sales plans and forecasts for the territory.
• Identify and pursue additional sales opportunities in current and new product lines.
• Communicate and turnover order details to Customer Service.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and presentations for customers at all levels.
