Job summary

Rexel USA, Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive sales in Baton Rouge, LA. You will build and maintain high-quality customer relationships, promote electrical products, and deliver tailored solutions to meet business objectives.

You will work with leadership, suppliers, and customers to implement sales strategies, identify new markets, and ensure exceptional customer service throughout the purchasing lifecycle. This role requires field activity and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales or electrical industry experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• High School or GED - Required.

Responsibilities

• Sell, market, promote, and demonstrate products; communicate features and benefits.
• Increase sales with new customers and by selling more to existing customers.
• Collaborate with leadership and suppliers on sales strategies and new markets.
• Assist customers with product selection using knowledge and suppliers.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships.
• Identify customer objectives and tailor solutions to their business needs.
• Coordinate quotations and maintain ongoing communication during purchases.
• Work with management and customers to resolve payment issues promptly.
• Gather market data on competitors, pricing, products and trends.
• Participate in training and development to improve selling skills and product knowledge.
• Maintain accurate records of sales calls and expenses.
• Coordinate sales calls with vendors to demonstrate products and solutions.
• Utilize digital tools to gain a competitive advantage.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
