Job summary

Rexel USA in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive sales of electrical products and related supplies. You will build and maintain high-quality relationships with new and existing customers, using digital tools to connect with clients and deliver tailored solutions.

The role requires 3+ years in sales or electrical industry, a valid driving license, and strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

3+ years of sales or electrical industry experience.
Valid Driver's License.
High School or GED - Required.
Proven ability to build relationships and close deals.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Sell, market, promote, and demonstrate products; communicate features and benefits.
Grow business by acquiring new customers and selling to existing customers.
Collaborate with leadership and suppliers on sales strategies and new markets.
Assist customers with product selection and applications using internal and supplier support.
Establish and maintain customer relationships.
Coordinate sales calls and provide ongoing communication throughout purchasing lifecycle.
Work with management to resolve payment issues promptly.
Report information on competitors, pricing, products, and market trends.
