Job summary

Convoy Supply Inc is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to identify and develop new accounts in the construction materials space. You’ll work with Inside Sales to present our unique selling proposition and expand Building Envelope offerings.

You will analyze market conditions, price strategies, and customer credit considerations while maintaining strong relationships with contractors, installers, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of sales experience, preferably in construction, including prospecting and networking for potential clients.
• Ability to read and understand construction specifications, drawings, and technical data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to schedule appointments and discuss products/pricing.
• Willingness to travel within the territory and work flexible hours beyond normal branch hours.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify prospects and develop new accounts.
• Identify market trends and competitive activity in roofing and adjust sales strategies.
• Sell products by establishing contacts and developing relationships with a focus on quality and service.
• Provide project quotations, maintain files, and follow up on quotations.
• Conduct job site visits regularly and interact with suppliers to stay updated on products.
• Meet defined sales targets and contribute to team success.
