Job summary

Qualifications

• Two to three years outside sales experience or equivalency.
• Demonstrated human relation and communication skills.
• Product knowledge and all features and benefits of BD Peripheral Intervention products.
• Surgical procedure knowledge, adequate to illustrate our product benefits.
• Basic anatomy and medical terminology.
• Thorough understanding of needs/analysis selling.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver''s license and meet auto safety standards.
• Must be able to travel in the field, as required.

Responsibilities

• Represent BD Peripheral Intervention in a specific geographical area and attain sales objectives.
• Sell the entire product line to current and new accounts.
• Inform customers of pricing, backorders, and company policies.
• Execute comprehensive in-service of products to all concerned individuals.
• Plan sales calls, manage sales time effectively.
• Develop thorough knowledge of all products and clinical data.
• Inform Regional Manager of market changes and competitive activity.
• Achieve prompt, mutually satisfactory solutions to customer complaints.
• Analyze customer needs and create solutions.
• Maintain company automobile and company property.
• Complete and process reports in accordance with procedures and policies.
