Job summary

Philip Morris International U.S. is offering an Undergraduate Intern – Field Sales Summer 2027 program designed to give students hands-on experience in commercial operations.

The 10-week internship runs June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027, with exposure to Territory Sales Managers, field visits, and real projects that influence territory performance. Interns will analyze market trends, support reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop recommendations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor's degree program.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using data to generate business insights.
• Demonstrated leadership through academics, student organizations, athletics, work experience, or community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ride-alongs with Territory Sales Managers to observe retail execution and customer engagement.
• Analyze sales, market, and territory data to identify business opportunities and trends.
• Support territory performance reviews and develop recommendations to improve results.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Consumer Experience, and Business Development teams.
• Conduct competitive and market research.
• Assist with retail activation and merchandising initiatives.
• Support projects focused on improving commercial effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Present project findings and recommendations to business leaders at the conclusion of the internship.
