Job summary

Philip Morris International U.S. is offering a 10-week Undergraduate Intern – Field Sales Summer 2027.

The program provides hands-on experience in field sales, analytics, and commercial operations, with mentorship from experienced sales leaders in an assigned territory. Interns will ride along with Territory Sales Managers, analyze market trends, and contribute to projects that drive territory growth and retailer engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using data to generate business insights.
• Demonstrated leadership through academics, student organizations, athletics, work experience, or community involvement.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ride-alongs with Territory Sales Managers to observe retail execution and customer engagement.
• Analyze sales, market, and territory data to identify business opportunities and trends.
• Support territory performance reviews and develop recommendations to improve results.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Consumer Experience, and Business Development teams.
• Conduct competitive and market research.
• Assist with retail activation and merchandising initiatives.
• Support projects focused on improving commercial effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Present project findings and recommendations to business leaders at the conclusion of the internship.
