Job summary

Philip Morris International U.S. invites undergraduates to join the Undergraduate Intern – Field Sales Summer 2027 program for hands-on field exposure and real-world projects.

The 10-week internship runs June 7, 2027 through August 13, 2027, within the Commercial organization across an assigned territory. Participants will shadow Territory Sales Managers, analyze market data, and contribute to territory growth and retailer engagement while developing leadership and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a full-time program.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using data to generate business insights.
• Demonstrated leadership through academics, student organizations, athletics, work experience, or community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ride-alongs with Territory Sales Managers to observe retail execution and customer engagement.
• Analyze sales, market, and territory data to identify business opportunities and trends.
• Support territory performance reviews and develop recommendations to improve results.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Consumer Experience, and Business Development teams.
• Conduct competitive and market research.
• Assist with retail activation and merchandising initiatives.
• Support projects focused on improving commercial effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Present project findings and recommendations to business leaders at the conclusion of the internship.
