Job summary

Graybar is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to expand our customer base in a specialized market. You will develop new prospects and maintain contact with existing customers, regularly visiting them at their place of business or other off-site locations.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed annual gross margin budget by promoting and selling products in the assigned territory.
• Handle customer complaints promptly and effectively, and report potential claims.
• Maintain current customer records and assist in collection of past due accounts.
• Carry out sales and merchandise programs as directed and recommend new items for stock.
• Participate in training sessions, trade shows, and sales meetings; demonstrate products after sale when necessary.
